Firhouse Carmel Schoolboy Football Club was founded in 1974 to cater for schoolboys & girls in the local area.
The object of the club is:
a. To foster the game of Association Football among all children
b. To promote a social spirit
c. To provide facilities towards achieving the forgoing aims.
We currently field teams from under 7 to under 18 along with a vibrant academy for those under the age of 7.
In total, close to 300 members wear the blue & yellow of Firhouse Carmel each week, playing football in both the South Dublin Football League & the Dublin & District Football League.
Based at Firhouse Community & Leisure Centre, where we have opened a purpose built changing & meeting facility, Firhouse Carmel boast four full size football pitches as well as two 7 & 9 aside pitches.
Supporting the managers & assistants that take charge of our teams each week, we have an active committee which looks after such vital areas as administration, pitch & building maintenance, coaching & first aid seminars along with fundraising & our weekly lotto
Our Club House was officially opened by Republic of Ireland Team Manager, Brian Kerr, on 11th of May, 2005.
