F.A.I. Award!
F.A.I. Club of the Month Award
Firhouse Chairman Hugh McCahill collected the F.A.I. Club of the Month award for February off Chairman David Blood in Palmerstown House Golf Club this week.
Hugh, in accepting the award, thanked everyone involved with the Club, both past & present, for their tireless hard work in making the Club what it is today and also striving hard to maintain the standards we have achieved.....
Along with a plaque to commemorate the award, the Club received a cheque for €1,500 and a place in the final 8 Club's now short listed for Club of the Year which will take place in Monaghan in early July.
The award represents recognition, at the highest level, of the work currently being carried out on a weekly basis by the Coaches, Managers & committee and also the attitude shown by Players & Parents every match day.
In addition, the work of previous members who laid the foundation stones on which the Club is now built deserves much credit.
